Inspiration for our bookmarks
When you are an avid book reader, like me, a bookmark becomes an important thing. You don't want the bookmark to damage your book, you want to be able to easily find your place with it and you want it to look good. This is what has led me to create this bookmark to tick all those boxes! I love bling and beads, can you tell?
How do we make them?
We have letterpressed some shiny foil of different colours into our 100% cotton board (300 gsm). Foiled are the words "one page at time" giving a gentle reminder to slow down. The edges have tiny dots of foil that glint like little jewels in the light. The soft board will respect your book, help you find your place with beauty and elegance.
and then we add ribbon and beads
We use pretty satin shiny ribbon with glass beads threaded onto the ends. Bling! Bling!
How do these bookmarks work?
The paper of the bookmark sits in the book at your page, the top of the bookmark should be sticking out from the top of your book, just under the hole where the ribbon is threaded works great! Then the ribbons and beads cascade down the front cover, looks so pretty!
or you can opt out of the ribbon and beads and have all that shiny foil in all it shiny glory!
