Inspiration for our tags:
Over the years I always like to buy a special present for those close to me. I spend time finding the perfect thing. I then buy nice wrapping paper. Do people keep wrapping paper? Usually no, I think. However, often people will keep the tag you have written your message on to them. I can never find a really nice tag for people to keep and so I have created something really special, for those really special presents.
What materials do we use?
We use genuine silk ribbon with a raw edge. That raw edge just gives it such a nice look, doesn't it? Then we use Christmas red sealing wax, hand poured and pressed with a Christmas seal. The wax we use is made from beeswax and natural resins. It is kinder to the environment than more usually used petroleum based waxes.
There is a slightly stiffer backing paper (300 gsm) with a softer inner paper (150 gsm) that we print 'Happy Christmas' onto. You can write between these sheets or on the back or even the front. The paper we use is natural rag cotton paper. It is soft and elegant. The paper is made from recycled cotton fibres and is vegan.
Colours:
We have created two colour palettes.
The first, has a clay backing card with muted white inner paper. We have printed 'Happy Christmas" in red and 'with love' in green. We sell these in packs of 3 and each tag has a different design wax seal.
The second, has a natural backing (light brownish) with muted white inner paper. We have printed 'Happy Christmas, with love' in black ink. We sell these in packs of 3 and each tag has a different design wax seal.
